About The Event
Hung Like Hanratty are the most talked about band on the circuit. Heavily influenced by 1977 punk attitude and bands like Toy Dolls, Macc lads, Pork Dukes, Damned etc, Hung Like Hanratty are top of their game. What you see is what you get.
4 Past Midnight are one of the hardest working bands to come out of Scotland. Playing what they have always considered to be a mix between punk rock and punk rock - you cant say fairer than that. They like to do their own thing when it comes to making music and have drawn their many influences from far and wide... including The Cockney Rejects, Conflict, The Ramones, The Clash, Killing Joke, No Use for a Name, Bad Religion, Johnny Cash, Neil Diamond, The Damned, Exploited and Discharge.
Billyclub are described as brutal, hard and fast with plenty of singalong chorus lines and a strong melodic feel to the tunes. Down to earth and straight to the point! With a background drenched in UK82 punk rock - Karl Egghead has been relentless in his approach to his music, its simple... punk all the way! And with his brother Mok belting out the power up front, Jizz Bastard smashing out the rumble and Andy smacking the beat Billyclub is a Freight Train at full speed.
Apocalypse Babys are a punk rock band born in South Normanton, Derbyshire that have been playing punk rock to punk rockers since 1990. The band have played the length and breadth of the UK with regular forays into Europe. Although it is difficult to pinpoint the bands style, the sound generally harked back to late 70’s/early 80’s influenced by bands such as The Ramones, Stiff Little Fingers and post-Pistols band The Professionals.
Thee Acid Tongue is one of the newest punk rock 'n' roll band to crop up in the UK's West Midlands. Featuring veterans of the Birmingham, Coventry and Toronto underground music scenes, this group is out to prove that rock 'n' roll is alive and well in the UK. They belt out clever riff combinations that are as influenced by classic rock anthems as they are by first wave punk. This is a band that believes in melody and dynamics as much as they do in raw power and brisk tempos.
Boycott the Baptist are a Carlisle based grindcore/punk/noise 2-piece who have toured relentlessly since forming in 2013. Playing over 200 shows in this time. Having supported such bands as Trash Talk, MDC, Wormrot and many more. For fans of Pig Destroyer, Eyehategod and Black Flag.
Hot Rockets are a three piece rock band from North Yorkshire. Playing all original riff and roll and tearing it up wherever they go.
