About The Event
The winners of the 'KDS Promotions Best Rock Band of 2019' - Sond of Liberty will be returning to The Boulevard this September accompanied by Thirteen Stars and Takeaway Thieves for a night not to be missed.
Sons of Liberty are the UK's hardest working, most authentic, popular and experienced original southern rock band who performed at the 2019 Planet Rockstock event with the likes of Uriah Heap, The Quireboys and Dan Reed Network. The band are currently touring their second independent release ‘Aged In Oak’ following hot on the heels of their highly acclaimed debut EP 'Shinola'. Animism is now available for download on all major platforms.
Thirteen Stars - “In an age of transient fame, Thirteen Stars present the antidote to the neurotic world where success is too often defined by clicks, likes and shares. Here is a band that does things on their own terms and gets the real things right. A band that lives to play, that enjoys the surprises of life on the road, is passionate about writing the music they believe in - and who reference the music of their heroes with their own, modern twist. Set against the white noise of spin, fashion and ’this week’s thing’ - Thirteen Stars present the new paradigm of authenticity, honesty and truth in modern music-making." - Guy Bellamy (Great Music Stories)
Takeaway Thieves - were formed in April 2018. Featuring ex members of Hooker, Ten and Dragstrip Junkies the band have secured live dates, supporting so far The Quireboys, Electric Boys, Massive Wagons, EnuffZNuff, Love/Hate, Towers of London, The Erotics and Shark Island. Securing management they recorded their EP at John Sykes (Whitesnake/Blue Murder) Berlin Studios and they released their debut single "I Wish You Were Dead" in March and the four track EP "This is RocknRoll" was released in May.
